Kisco was founded by Lyn Carlyle-Jacob who has years of experience in different industries, as well as being involved with major projects including:

Prior to that, Lyn’s work background has included working in the import and export industries including manufacturing, agriculture, sustainable energy production, education and travel and tourism (along with the transport and logistics involved), being a Queensland Small Business Adviser, running a business incubator for local government, working in social and community development practice (including literacy, numeracy, financial literacy, women’s upskilling and empowerment, small business development and project development/management) and a host of other activities both in Australia and overseas.

She’s skilled in connecting the dots, working with people, and then solving issues, problems or making off-the-wall solutions leading to positive outcomes.

Formal qualifications include a university degree and vocational education certificates in diverse things such as Sustainability, Volunteering, Training and Assessment, Makerspace development to name a few.

Life skills come from having raised a family, leading an adventurous life, working and living in lots of places including Papua New Guinea, the Pacific, and more settled places. 

Lyn offers skills and knowledge with a unique way of seeing the world and a natural way of interacting with people from all walks of life, cultures, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

Kisco was born when Lyn made the realisation she was researching, applying knowledge, connecting people, and providing solutions – and that this was a skill set that would be of value to others in business or who needed someone with that lens and focus in their business or life.   

She also recognised that she had a vast network of contacts and practitioners in the professional world who were also available to assist her clients so Kisco is able to offer more than just Lyn’s skills but those of people in the legal, accounting, business development , education and other spaces to assist clients not just from government and business but also individuals in need of similar services.
